Pompton Lakes offers great access to I-287 and Route 23.  I-287 runs north toward Mahwah and into New York State. I-287 runs south through Montville and leads into I-80 east & west.

Route 23, runs north and south also.  Northbound traffic will travel through West Milford, Vernon and points further.  Route 23, southbound travels through Wayne and will intersect with Route 46 and I-80 eastbound towards the George Washington Bridge.

Bus transportation is available at the Wayne Route 23 Transit Center or you can use NJ Transit local lines #193, #194 or #197 to the Port Authority in Midtown Manhattan.

Train service to New York and Hoboken is available on the Montclair-Boonton Line by using the Wayne Route 23 Transit Center which offers 1,000 parking spaces.
